Welcome to the Dahl Auto Museum website. Take a stroll down memory lane and immerse yourself in the rich history of the most widely used mode of transportation, the automobile. The Dahl Auto Museum celebrates the Dahl family's involvement as automotive dealers spanning over 100 years and 5 generations. It also features the history of the automobile through the eyes of Ford Motor Company, an extensive mascot collection and many beautifully restored classic automobiles from the turn of the century to present.
Dahl Automotive La Crosse is the eighth oldest Ford dealership under continuous family ownership in the nation. The rich history of the family as they continue to grow alongside the automotive industry is a great legacy in the making.

The Dahl family has always taken great pride in being involved in the La Crosse area community. In fact, the Dahl Museum was built specifically to give back and share historical treasures with the community. There's an educational component of the museum for school groups and civic groups, and the museum also holds events partnering with The La Crosse Historical Society such as the "Remember When" event held annually for participants to dress up in historical apparel and share stories of the past.
One very cool feature of the museum is the Starlite Drive-in which is a historical tribute to La Crosse's old drive-in theater that was once located on Highway 33 from 1949–1978. The big screen shows old, classic films and embodies the spirit of the time of drive-in theaters.
